The last 12 months has been quite an adventure. This last year has reminded me of our great need to be rooted in Christ, to trust in Him, and to trust in His word. Not only is this essential for us, but it is essential for our children as well. Add a pandemic, an election, racial injustice, and social unrest to the mix and the need for our families to be grounded in Christ becomes all the more evident. As parents, we are called to guide our children on their journey of faith. Crossroads Kids wants to come alongside you and give you tools to help disciple your children.
Equipping Our Kids
Oasis (Nursery and Preschool)
In Oasis, your children are prayed over, taught truth, and have a ton of fun. When they are picked up, we provide a take home page with family activities, discussion questions, and key Bible verses so you can take what they learned at church and dig deeper at home.
Base Camp (Elementary)
During Base Camp, your children will learn more about God, hear the gospel, and spend time applying it to their lives. When you pick them up, they will receive a home guide based on what they learned at church that Sunday. The home guide gives four different quiet time prompts that help your kids more independently read the Bible, apply it, and spend time in prayer.
For families who are not ready to return in person we have these resources available online at www.crossroadschur.ch/kids. Our website also provides fun Bible story videos that go along with your take homes and home guides.
Having other safe, Christ following adults speaking into the lives of your children helps to reinforce what you are teaching at home. Our children’s ministry leaders are ready to pour into your children and encourage them in a safe, fun filled environment. Currently we have children’s ministry available during the 9:30am service at our St. Andrews Campus and 4:00pm at our Chapin Campus.
Every day is a new day that bring challenges and opportunities, and through it all we are here for you. If you have any questions about Crossroads Kids or next help figuring out next steps for discipling your kids you can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
