PRAYER GATHERING:  Our next prayer gathering will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, at the St. Andrews Campus (2723 Ashland Road, Columbia). We meet monthly to pray for our global workers, local outreach, and church partners. If you have a request to share, please email Kyle Parham at kyle@columbiacrossroads.org

BECOME A STEPHEN MINISTER: Are you passionate about sharing God's love to those in need? The Care Ministry is looking for people just like you to become a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers are trained to walk alongside others during difficult times while offering prayer, encouragement, wisdom, and a listening ear. No special skills or experience is needed, but volunteers are required to participate in weekly training to help you be well-prepared, confident, and equipped to serve effectively. CANDY DRIVE FOR FALL FESTIVAL: We are excited to be hosting our annual Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 24, at the St. Andrews Campus and that means we will need plenty of individually wrapped candy to hand out! We are asking every family at Crossroads to donate at least one bag of individually wrapped candy for the trunk or treat. You can bring your donation to the table in Lobby A starting Sundays through October 19. 

VOLUNTEER FOR FALL FESTIVAL: We need a large team of volunteers to help make our Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 24, a success! Click here to learn more about volunteering opportunities or to host a trunk. 

ECUADOR TRIP 2026 : We had a great response at our Ecuador Youth Trip interest meeting this past Sunday! We are still accepting applications through October 5 for our trip June 4-10, 2026. If your student has an interest in joining the team, please email Kyle Parham at kyle@columbiacrossroads.org for information on how to apply. Please note, we have a limited number of spaces, so apply soon. 

CHURCH PICNIC & LAKE BAPTISMS: Join us for a potluck style picnic at the lake on Sunday, October 19, starting at 1 p.m. We'll enjoy lunch together as well as worship through baptism at the Woodmen of the World property in Chapin (2000 Johnson Marina Road). Bring a main dish or side to feed 8 others and beverages for your family! Crossroads will provide fried chicken and paper products. If you are interested in being baptized that afternoon, contact the Church Office at info@columbiacrossroads.org so we can schedule a baptism discussion.

ALPHA TRAINING: Have you ever asked yourself 'What's the point of it all?' 'Why are we here?' What's the Meaning of Life?' If you have, then Alpha is for you. An Alpha course gives you an opportunity to ask questions, have fun, learn about the Christian faith and make new friends. This course is also a great opportunity for people of faith to explore the foundations of their faith more deeply. Click here to learn more!
